Living!

Every once in a while we wake up in the morning and something feels different. A gentle stirring inside, the way the breeze blows, a scent in the air. A sense of excitement and possibility, and the thought that, maybe, just maybe, today will be the day. Today may be the day something magical happens.  Today may be the day I fall in love. Today may be the day I win the lottery. Or maybe, today is simply the day everything changes because something inside shifts.

Today is the day you stumbled onto this website. Whatever the circumstances, it was meant to land in your hands, it is not an accident.  This article is intended to be a window to those mornings when anything seems possible. Every day, in fact, every moment, is a new space in time, an opportunity for a brand new beginning.

We always believed life would be an adventure and on those days when the wind blows differently something inside quietly suggests it’s not too late.  We may not even realize a deep part of us honors the moment with this thought, but we can feel it, we may not know exactly what it is, but we can definitely feel it.

Every once in a while, something inside tells us life can be different. Sometimes it screams with a wild passion and exclaims, “It must be different!  This life doesn’t fit! Yes, I’m content enough, but I know I was meant for something more.”

Sometimes we feel larger than life and it’s not a simple shifting of the breeze but instead something more resembling a tornado in the pit of our stomach that feels like it has a life of its own and is ready to burst loose at any second!

We’re so busy and tired just trying to get from one day to the next that somewhere along the way, we’ve missed the point. We stopped living. That’s why this article is titled “Living”, because that is what Life Dynamics, LLC is about, it’s about living, not dying.

We hear that from the moment we are born we begin the process of dying. How are we ever supposed to embrace all life has to offer if we are busy dying?!  No, living is the opposite of dying and if you feel like something inside has been dying for a long time, then Life Dynamics, LLC is for you.

Living IS an adventure, the problem is, you can’t experience the adventure if what you are doing is dying, not living. Going through the motions is not living.  Just trying to fund your existence is not living.  Waking in the morning, just to look forward to when you’ll get to go to bed at night is not living.

So then, what is living?  Living is drinking in all life has to offer.  Living is being anchored in your body while simultaneously knowing you are so much more than flesh and bones. We already said living is an adventure, but does that mean you’re not living unless you are climbing to the top of Mt. Everest?  Does it mean you’re not living unless you are skydiving over Africa?  Of course not. Some people have these ideas of what an adventure is and miss the adventures in their own lives every single day.

An adventure is whatever you want it to be. Whatever it means to you. Maybe climbing a mountain is truly what fuels someone and for them it would be an adventure and an example of a life fully lived.  For someone else, maybe an adventure is writing, not necessarily something to be published, but simply the act of writing.  Or shopping for all the ingredients for a wonderful meal, taking the time to smell the fresh produce and choose the very best items.

And for someone else, an adventure may be sipping a cup of tea while watching a child paint a masterpiece with finger paints.  Of course in that example the key is watching the child, not seeming to watch the child but really thinking about which bills need to be paid and what needs to be picked up at the grocery store.

Living is waking EVERY morning knowing anything is possible. Living is going through the day with a sense of purpose. Living is consciously acknowledging and celebrating all the gifts of life, including the gift of self. Living is being aware of what works and what doesn’t and having a plan for adjusting what doesn’t. Living is feeling like the star in your life, not those people on TV. Living is knowing what your natural gifts and talents are and using them daily.

Living is being in touch with your inner-voice and hearing its guidance. A true adventure, is waking every day, thinking you may know what the day holds, but being flexible enough to adjust the plan whenever you feel led to do so, this means surprises lie around every corner.

Life Dynamics, LLC operates on the premise there are three crucial elements to Living Consciously or Living Fully Aware, which is when you are truly Living and no longer dying.

The first is an in depth understanding of your personality self, this is the self we have designed to be visible to the outside world. This is where our habits, nuances, and patterns lie. This is the part of our self that is influenced by our environment, our upbringing and our experiences.

The second element in being able to live consciously is an understanding of your natural gifts and abilities. What are your unique innate intelligences? What are you naturally good at without having to be taught?  What do you enjoy?

And the third element in truly living consciously is an awareness of your higher self. This is your soul self, your connection to "something more", a higher power, God, or maybe simply the internal wisdom that transcends your environment. This element is the key to that which knows, doesn’t just think, but knows, you were meant for something more than the life you are living now. This part of you knows what that something more is and holds the key to discovering it. Follow its guidance and you can’t go wrong.

When you take the time to explore these elements,  you will be able to celebrate who you are, all your gifts and talents, your unique ability to love and give, to yourself and others. No more waiting for something to happen to you, you will realize you are the one who can make things happen for you. This is the time to start living and stop dying. To say it takes courage and hard work maybe true, but it won’t feel like hard work, it will feel life-giving and empowering. Filled with “ah-ha” moments and “Oh, now I remember”.

So, having the sense that your life is about the change and that it may finally start looking like the life you were meant to live, let the adventure begin!  Contact Life Dynamics, LLC today to find out how we can help.
